Extreme income, growth, and life does not come from the extreme advice
I’m on week 4 right now of my time off I’ve taken with my family and one of my favorite things to do is listen to podcast. Not only do I like doing a podcast but I love listening to them as well. The problem I’m hearing more and more in the business/opportunity/entrepreneurship space is extremes.
On one side you hear that all you need is a computer with internet and this thrill, pill, lotion, or potion is going to make you rich in no time flat. On the other side you hear, “NOTHING ONLINE IS LEGIT”. I heard one famous online guru say, “stop looking for any passive income, residual income, or an online automated business.” There’s only one problem with that advice. I’m sitting on the balcony of our condo overlooking the gulf right now in week 4 of a 6 week hiatus with my family.
Week 1: Cruising
Week 2: Hanging out In Heaven (Suntrust Park Atl)
Week 3: Disney
Week 4: Clearwater
Week 5-6 (TBD)
Now I don’t say that to say, “hey look at me, I’m someone special!” Actually quiet the opposite. I’m saying anyone can build a business around their dreams that offers residual and passive income if they are willing to put in the hard work now to build their business. Both extremes on this are dead wrong.
- There is no get rich quick magic pill that you can take that will bring instant success.
- THERE IS HOWEVER a 10 year proven strategy that has worked for me and thousand of others on a daily basis that will allow you to build a business around your passions, skills, and abilities.
If I could do anything differently I wished I could have avoided the trading effort for earnings I had spent so much time in within the first several years of my career. I’m not saying there’s not any effort now, but I am saying the effort now is compounded and I have leverage. I’m no longer trading a pound of effort for a pound of earnings. I’m trading a pound of effort for 10,20,60,100 pounds of earnings. How?
It starts by being willing to trade a 10,20,60,100 pounds of energy for no pound of earnings. Then I get up the next day and do it again. And I do it again. And I keep on keeping on until I’ve honed my craft and can execute on the proven strategies that are time tested over multiples of people. After doing this business for over 10 years now and seeing thousands of entrepreneurs launch their business, I’ve notice some things.
- The keys to quicker success is both mindset and skillset. I’ve heard it said that your talent will take you further than your character can keep you. I’ve seen a lot of talented people launch their home base business with us to only fizzle out faster than they launched. Doing business the right way is not only morally good, it’s financially advantageous.
- Patience is not only a virtue but a monetary value. Nothing worth having comes easy and those who can’t afford the time, money, frustration, and delayed satisfaction to see their goals accomplish will quit. NO ONE HAS EVER WON ANYTHING who has quit.
- You will accomplish more when you are in your zone of genius. Everyone has been given unique skills, abilities, experiences, and personalities. The faster you are able to leverage this combination of attributes that make up your entrepreneurial profile, the faster you will realize your goals.
- Coach-ability equals Earn-ability. I’m often amused by the broke, unemployed career and business advice I get from some. Now don’t get me wrong. I STILL HAVE A LOT TO LEARN. That is why I pay around $500 a month just to be in a mastermind group. HOWEVER I’ve not met too many people who have applied to work with us that fully understand the nuances, pain points, and land minds we have to navigate within our business. While I do appreciate any and all feedback, it’s the belligerent, dogmatic, over opinionated and under educated drivel offered by a few that do make me laugh. I encourage all of my reps, trainers, and recruiters when you meet this person, RUN!! They’re applying for a job and already trying to tell you what’s wrong. Now who is in need of work, money, and an opportunity again? SMH 😉
Don’t fall for the extreme advice by the Negative Nancy’s or the Charlatan Charlie’s. There are ways you can build a business that offers both passive and residual income. IT DOES NOT REQUIRE JOINING AN MLM or NETWORK MARKETING BUSINESS EITHER.
The best thing I ever did for myself, my family, and really my friends was learn how to leverage my passions and purpose to bring value to the market place.
