How Fear Steals The Potential of More from So Many! 01.02.19 terrywilson3.com

I started today’s live Q&A session by answering a question I received via email today from a person who for sometime has considered starting their own business but is afraid of the risk involved. I took sometime to answer this and also give some thoughts on how I approach the whole idea of risk taking in business.

The email from Nic read:

Terry,

I have been interested in lead generation for some time now. I have spoke with a few of your reps, but, was never able to pull the trigger.

At the moment, I unfortunately can not afford to dish out the money for the software,.. and  there is also a risk factor of the product not working out.
There are a lot of products on the market today, gambling on them can be foolish and financially destructive.

I was wondering if you have any trial programs?

I am willing to put in the time to learn the software and process.
I just need to be sure it can generate the money to at least pay for it self in the course of 30 days.

Please let me know if there are any options.

Thank you,

Nic.

I’m not saying the person asking the question is full of fear, a bad person, or anything of the such. I’ve never spoken to them and really don’t know. However the email reminded me of so many conversations I’ve had over the past 10 years of helping others start a business that I couldn’t help but use it as a teachable moment. Fear is the biggest enemy most people will face in achieving, or even for that matter having, higher goals, dreams, and aspirations.

This was a great time speaking with a lot of on fire entrepreneurs. Some of which are earning $20k, $30k, and even $50k per mo. Listen in as I speak with some of them and feel free to post your comments and or questions below!
